Just an everyday girl from Harare Zimbabwe who loves Jesus, data and people.
I always knew I wanted to change the world, I just didn't know how. From a humble background being raised by a single mother and selling sweets to get by in university to being known as Zimbabwe's first female data scientist and travelling to Silicon Valley, my journey has been nothing short of a miracle!
Today, my vision is to transform lives using data and I do this in my vocation as a data scientist and in my community as a mentor, trainer and speaker.
I've created 20+ dashboards and love the whole process of a good data project from extracting raw data right through to communicating insights
As someone who started my career without much guidance mentorship is a passion I pursue: I've mentored over 30 people both virtually and in person
My tools of the trade range from simple Excel to SQL, Python, PowerBI, and Qlik
I've trained numerous young and old people including high scholars, educators and government officials
Growing up I was told I'm a chatterbox. I still am! I just use it for productive things now! I've had over 20 speaking engagements including a TedX talk!
I'm a data girl, so here are my stats!
